Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: January 2026
Overview
This policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and billing disputes are handled for Messages Pilot subscriptions. It applies to all plans purchased directly through messagespilot.com. If you purchased through a reseller or partner, their terms may apply in addition to this policy.
Free Trial
New accounts start with a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial, and you can cancel at any time before it ends with no cost. If you do not cancel, your card will be charged for the plan you selected when the trial ends.
Monthly Subscriptions
Cancelling
You can cancel a monthly subscription at any time from Dashboard → Settings → Billing, or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not retroactively refund the current billing cycle, which you can continue using until it ends.
Refund window
If you are charged in error or cancel within 7 days of a monthly charge and have made minimal use of the account, we will issue a full refund for that charge. Requests outside this window are evaluated case by case.
Annual Subscriptions
Annual plans are billed once per year at a discount versus monthly billing. Because of that discount:
- Refunds are available in full within 14 days of the initial annual charge or renewal.
- After 14 days, we offer a prorated refund for unused full months remaining in the term, minus any discount applied for choosing annual billing.
- You can still cancel auto-renewal at any time to prevent the next annual charge.
WhatsApp Conversation Costs
Conversation fees billed by Meta for WhatsApp Business API usage are separate from your Messages Pilot subscription and are passed through at cost. These charges reflect conversations your account actually opened and are non-refundable once a conversation has started, consistent with Meta's own billing policy.
Non-Refundable Items
- Setup, onboarding, or professional services fees once work has begun
- WhatsApp template submission or Meta verification fees charged by Meta directly
- Add-ons or usage already consumed within the current billing period
- Accounts terminated for violating our Terms of Service or WhatsApp's policies
How to Request a Refund
Email billing@messagespilot.com with your account email and the invoice or charge in question. We respond within 2 business days and, once approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days depending on your bank.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank — most billing issues can be resolved directly and faster this way. Accounts with an open, unresolved chargeback may be suspended while the dispute is reviewed.
